Is five years too long to wait between posts?  I’d say yes.  But, we’re back and maybe that is all that matters.  Much has changed.  Lulu and G-Star are in second grade and kindergarten, and our family has moved to (drumroll please) .  .  . Chicago.  The move is new and as we have been settling in to our new city I realized that this blog may be the perfect way to keep track of our adventures.  So, stay tuned for a recap that will be coming soon.  In the meantime, here is a look at where we were in our last post and where we are today.

Easter egg hunts, jelly beans, and head-holding contests. . . .  what more could you wish for?

Lulu and G-Star took their first trip to Hawaii this Spring.

Lulu found the travel to be exhausting. . . .

Up at 4:00 a.m.; napping by 8:00 a.m.

but she quickly perked up for pool time.

G-Star also loved the pool.

He also got used to napping in the cabana.

When cousin HT arrived, the fun really started.

We were all sad to say goodbye. . . .

In February, Mommy and Daddy finally got around to taking Lulu on her first visit to the zoo.  Lulu was excited and, of course, stylishly prepared for her first visit.

G-Star joined in on the fun.  He was equally enthusiastic.

Lulu got a boost from Daddy to get a better look at the Gorillas,

And crouched down to observe the Lions sleeping.

It was a fun, beautiful day.

G-Star was baptized on February 19, 2012.  Here are a few photos.

Because Lulu’s brother arrived on Christmas, Mommy and Daddy arranged for Santa to make a special delivery a few days after Christmas this year.  Lulu was so excited to see her new red kitchen from Santa Claus.  Grandma and Grandpa brought her a cradle, which Elmo and Grover were happy to use.  It was a fun Christmas for Lulu this year.

Updates, updates, updates. Lulu has been up to all sorts of stuff over the past several months. We can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Lulu has had a very fun fall.  We have been enjoying a nice, long, indian summer and Lulu has been practicing her crawling (she became mobile on October 20, 2010) and hanging out with her friends Dylan, Maddie and Claire.

Lulu also enjoyed spending time with Grandma W. and Grandpa and Grandma M.

Lulu dressed up like a bumble bee for her first Halloween.  Buzzzzzzzzz . . . buzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
